rolling. You will beat him, hands down. From a stand still, the Z is potentially faster but we have poor traction, and the fact that the Z06 has almost 1.5x the rubber in the rear doesn't help. As for the M3, that is stock material, esp at higher speeds. I think an intake and perhaps an exhaust (if really needed) will make up the initial launch deficiency. A stock TT driven right is a low to mid 13s car, but not many people can drive (abuse their car) correctly. But as with almost any turbo car, stand stills are the wrong niche. You need to be at speed, which is a whole different story. Thats why a stock TT is on par with the new M3 (higher (peakier) hp, but lower (semi-peaky) torque curve). Our cars require a very skilled hand/feet that most all of us on this forum don't/or will never have. It's not the car its the driver. But where our car shines and hangs/beats is in the curves.
